Medical Physics and Radiation Oncology

 

Florence Nightengale - the Lady with the Lamp, making nightly rounds among the wounded of the Crimean War of 1856. She established what would become the standards of care for nursing. A lifesize statue is located in the College of Nursing at the University of Utah. A smaller version is located in the lobby of Sibley Hospital in Washington D.C.
